a beautiful evening, a peaceful night ride

Drifted along the water tonight after 11:00 pm coming home from dinner and a movie at a friend's home. First time I've ridden that late in the evening.

It was calm, quiet and peaceful. The fishing pier was full though... don't know what the occasion was but the cars lined the seawall for miles.

I noticed the smell of a fire burning near the state park. Waves were cresting softly against the sand. The wind was non-existent except for what was created as I glided down the road. The stars bright in the night's sky.

Every time I ride, I wonder how I ever lived without Hope...
