My daughter is a 2009 ALD Graduate Fellowship Recipient!

Ok all... I'm one proud Mom!!! Look six names down the list below and you will see my daughter's name. This is a first for her alma mater, Albion College. They have never had a graduate receive this Fellowship award in the history of their college. She said they're going to do a press release on her!

Bethany amazes me every day with her conviction, motivation and dedication to the things she values in her life. Her family, her friends and her education are all cherished by her core. I couldn't have asked God for a daughter more loving, giving, kind and considerate who is also intelligent and a hard worker. She's the total package. I am truly blessed to be her mother...

That's my girl! :)

Love you Bethany... you make me proud every day.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Are you an Alpha Lambda Delta member thinking about pursuing a graduate or professional degree? Alpha Lambda Delta offers 23 Graduate Fellowships each year, ranging in value from $3,000 to $7,500.
The ALD Graduate Fellowships have been in place since 1940, and over 600 outstanding members have received awards.
To be eligible for an ALD Graduate Fellowship, you must be a member of Alpha Lambda Delta who is enrolled or will be enrolled in a graduate or professional studies program during the coming academic year. You must be enrolled or plan to be enrolled at an accredited institution within the United States to apply.
Each year National Alpha Lambda Delta awards one $7,500 fellowship, eight $5,000 fellowships and fourteen $3,000 fellowships. These fellowships have been established to help qualified members obtain graduate or professional degrees. Candidates will be considered on the basis of merit. Fellowship recipients will be announced by April 30.
ELIGIBILITY: Any initiated member of Alpha Lambda Delta who has maintained the cumulative average of Alpha Lambda Delta initiation standard (i.e., 3.5 on a 4.0 scale or the equivalent) until graduation is eligible to apply. Members graduating this year may apply if they have achieved this average at the end of the first semester (or first quarter) of the current year. In determining the average of eligibility, the decimal point must be .5 or above, and not a .49 or any other average less than .5.
Selection will be based on academic records, recommendations submitted, the applicant’s stated purpose, and campus and community activities.
