♥ Thank you Dr. Sullivan & Red Bluff Animal Hospital ♥

I highly recommend Dr. Sullivan and his staff. When Samantha was near death and they thought she wouldn't pull through, he was kind, caring, and loving to her and to me.  His staff fit Sam in right away one morning when I was beyond grief-stricken. And then, miraculously, they brought her back to life. A part of my heart will be forever broken when I lose my baby, but for now, because of these wonderful people who love and care for animals in this exceptionally caring office, I have her for a little while longer.

♥ I love the Red Bluff Animal Hospital! ♥

the perfect Mother's Day gift for *me*

For Mother's Day, my caring loving daughter gave me the best gift one could give me. I received a card today that said:

"Mom, I have decided to share your love of books with children who desperately need them - in honor of you this Mother's Day. Your love of learning has now spread around the world!"

Here is a bit more of what was on the card (I love this gift!):

Congrats Tommy!!!

Because of my daughter's impeccable taste in men
(thank you Bethany! ;)
I am privileged to have a young man I admire greatly as a part of my family. A third child who I consider my child and son, as much as the ones I birthed.

Yesterday, a call came through with the exciting news that he had aced his medical board exams with a

Congrats Heather!!!

My niece, Heather Dawn, graduated from college last week.  She went to school against all odds.  Two young kids and a husband and lost her mom, my sister, during her journey.  She stuck with it.  She kept going and moved herself one foot at a time into a new life and a new career.  She has done something that I never could do when my kids were little.  I so admire her.

Heather,
I love you so very much.  You remind me so much of your mom every time I look at you.  You are going to go far, do many things, and be able to take care of yourself.  You've proved it by finishing.  You've done good.  My heart is filled with joy for your new journey!  Your mother is so very proud too...  she's watching from Heaven and is with you always.  Never doubt that.

We have another college grad in the family... woo hoo!!! :)
Congrats!!!
Love you!

Congrats Bethany & JoJo & Tommy!

My daughter and her best friend JoJo graduated on Saturday, May 10th from Albion College in Michigan. They worked hard for four years and both of them graduated with department honors, Phi Beta Kappa and Summa Cum Laude to name only the top three.

My mother took the trip up north with me. It was one of the proudest days of my life - separate from the day my children were born into the world.

I couldn't be more proud...
Tommy graduated U of M a few weeks ago with top honors too! You all three rock!!!

You all inspire me...
